Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy

Known as the "Vampire Facial" or "Vampire Face Lift", Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is a clinically advanced skin and cell regenerating treatment, which involves having your blood taken in clinic and spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the red and white blood cells. Your own cell regenerating plasma (made up from stem cells, platelets and growth factors) is then needled or injected back into your skin, producing the most AMAZING, long lasting anti ageing/skin rejuvenation results!!

PRP therapy is also used to treat hair loss, thinning hair, alopecia and as a supplementary treatment while receiving hair transplants. As with the procedure described above for facials, but instead your plasma is injected or needled directly into the scalp to treat a range of hair and scalp conditions.

This treatment can be delivered via the Mesotherapy injection technique or in combination with our SkinPen Microneedling procedure.

PRP Facials (Vampire Facial/Vampire Facelift)

PRP Facials promote skin health, vitality and rejuvenation and significantly treat ageing skin, lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, dehydrated skin, hyperpigmentation, scarring, sun damage, uneven skin tone and uneven skin texture. One treatment will provide a wonderful skin boost, however, for the best, longest lasting results, a course of at least 3 facials is typically required, with treatments taken 3-6 weeks apart. A clinical consultation is required prior to treatment.

Mesotherapy Method (Individual)

Your blood is taken in clinic using a cannula and spun in a centrifuge to separate the plasma from the red and white blood cells. In the meantime, your skin is double cleansed and a scrub and enzyme peel is applied to remove dead skin cells. Your own regenerating platelet rich plasma is then injected into your skin in a series of superficial injections using a very fine gauge needle. The treatment completes with the application of a nourishing, hydrating mask and anti ageing serums.

Skin Needling/Microneedling Method with SkinPen® Precision (Individual)

As above, however, instead of using the Mesotherapy method, the SkinPen® Precision CE marked medical device is used to medically microneedle your plasma directly into your skin. As a medical aesthetics clinic, Skin&Spirit is able to microneedle your skin up to a depth of 2.5 mm. PRP Therapy for Hair Thinning/Hair Loss

PRP therapy can be used to treat hair and hair thinning, including used as a supplementary treatment while receiving hair transplants. (Note that if total hair loss/baldness has already occurred, PRP will be unlikely to be suitable). A course of 4-8 treatments (taken weekly) is typically required, followed by a maintenance treatment every 3-6 months.
