Cosmetic and Medical Microneedling

Cosmetic grade microneedling provides many of the benefits of Medical Microneedling, just in a gentler way, with less down time than the medical version.  With microneedling depths up to 1.5 mm and between 3,000 and 6,000 micro-injuries in the skin per minute, the Cosmetic grade treatment is perfect for overall skin health and rejuvenation and epidermal level pigmentation.  Downtime is generally around 2 days of pink skin.  An add on such as Dermalux LED Phototherapy would be an ideal package.

Medical grade microneedling is the most advanced microneedling treatment we provide at Skin&Spirit for the revision of acne scarring, serious skin rejuvenation, deep hyperpigmentation and lifting and tightening.  Suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types, SkinPen® comfortably creates 98,000 micro-injuries in the skin up to a depth of 2.5mm to trigger the body’s natural wound healing process initiating the release of natural growth factors and collagen.   Typically involves 4 days of red/pink skin.
