Clinical blood testing is a cornerstone of the medical services we offer at Skin&Spirit. Our blood tests provide detailed insight into your current health, nutritional status and hormonal balance, helping us to move beyond symptoms alone and make informed, evidence-based recommendations tailored to you as an individual.
We partner with Inuvi, a leading UK laboratory (fully certified to the correct regulations and standards), allowing us to offer a comprehensive range of blood tests, from routine health screens through to advanced hormonal, metabolic, nutritional and inflammatory markers. Blood testing can be arranged either via a home finger-prick test kit, which is posted directly to you, or — where required or preferred — via a venous blood sample taken by a qualified nurse phlebotomist attending your home for an additional fee. Some blood tests, particularly more complex or comprehensive panels, require a venous sample to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
What sets our service apart is not just the testing itself, but the full clinical interpretation and analysis that follows. All results are reviewed by our Registered Nurse Prescriber and discussed with you as part of a consultation, translating complex data into clear, meaningful insights about your health, wellbeing and future risk profile. Where appropriate, results are considered alongside symptoms, medical history and lifestyle factors to build a complete picture.
Based on your results, we may recommend and provide further personalised support, which may include prescribed medication, hormone therapy, intramuscular vitamin or nutritional therapy, medical weight management, diet and lifestyle planning, or counselling support. Testing is never offered in isolation — it forms part of an integrated, medically led approach designed to support both short-term improvements and long-term health optimisation.
Further details about specific tests and panels are available in the sections that follow, but our aim is always the same: to use high-quality diagnostics combined with expert clinical interpretation to guide safe, personalised and effective care.
